...Sherman Alexie

Alexie starts his column in this week's Stranger with this sentence:

"I HATE Gerge W. Bush."

Gasp! Can you believe anyone would dare to actually put that in print? And in The Stranger no less! What a brave man!

He admits to having felt envy when he watched W's USS Abraham Lincoln photo op. He also quotes himself as having said "I hope he suffered..." Both of these things strengthen my belief that the hatefest surrounding me is a forcefield comprised of the bitter vibes of personal inadequacy which repel all reason and logic.

Alexie ends his take on the President's PR stop with "Reelect George W. Bush! He's got the biggest dick!"

He then poses a question: "Is there any object more phallic than a jet plane?"

I'm glad you asked, neighbor. The answer is yes, your pen is.

I'm a little bit country, I'm a little bit R&B, I'm a little bit of everywhere I've lived, I'm a lot of Don't Mess With Me, Don't know if you'll understand, But I know it's clear to me, I'm a little bit hip-hop, But it's ALL about Liberty. (Thank you, Tracey Ullman and Donny & Marie).
